Students will engage with instructor lead demonstrations, receive personalized feedback, and paint from extended portrait poses with a model, strengthening their grasp of form and expression. Ideal for artists looking to build a strong foundation or refine existing portrait skills. This class offers a focused, supportive setting grounded in classical techniques.

Assortment of flats or filberts - I like Trekell’s Legions and Rosemary’s Eclipse synthetics Blick also has a brand called Princeton that is pretty good (sizes 2, 6, 10)

Large bristle round OR synthetic mop brush for softening edges (size 12 or larger)

Odorless mineral spirits, I use Gamsol
